Welcome to the Wildlifeuk newsletter
|
So what has happened this week? Well not much. Jim is getting ready to move house, so good luck Jim. As for myself, I have spent most of my time at the edit desk, inputting the footage for a video currently under production, about “Badger Watching” with tips on photographing and filming, as well as just watching these enchanting beasts. Should be out Nov/Dec time if all goes well. Still I did manage to get out last week for a little bit to film a fox family. As luck would have it in heavy rain, Still the light was nice and Steve’s big brolly nicer still!! Moreover, despite the weather Steve and I managed to get some nice material.

| The nightjar is probably my favourite bird. I have taken pictures at the nest and on branches but my ultimate goal was a hoving nightjar.
After two summers, 144 shots, and much planning, watching, learning, and with only 2 - 4 shots a night I have finally achieved my aim.
