The WildlifeUK Newsletter

August 11, 2002   Keeping you on track!!!
Welcome to the Wildlifeuk newsletter
It has been a good week for just looking out of my window this week, with several sightings of
Polecats at the rear of the house, being mobbed mercilessly by the garden bird population.
The local Red kites have turned up and quartered our acres on a daily basis,
and on Thursday, one of our neighbors knocked on the door, to inform me that he had Otters on his land and if I would like to film them I could help myself.

YES PLEASE!! Mean while the badger film is slowly taking shape, but all this editing is hard work. Still it will all be worth it in the end…I hope.

Mink are becoming an all to common sight these days. They are fierce predators, hunting the riverbanks and lakes, taking a terrible toll of our native wildlife. However, on one site that I know, they in turn are loosing out to the Otters, who object to their presence. Come on Boys!!!
